What we collect

When you request an invitation or become a member we collect your name, email address, mobile number, suburb and state, who introduced you, and anything you tell us about the wines you enjoy. As a member we also keep your wine preferences, wishlist requests, the offers we send you, your responses and your orders.

Why we collect it

To decide on membership, to send you private wine offers, to confirm and deliver your orders, to keep the records a licensed liquor business must keep, and to make future offers more relevant to you. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.

Where it is kept

Your information is stored in Point Capri's own systems hosted in Sydney, Australia, with encrypted backups also kept in Australia. Emails are sent through an Australian-verified sending service. We do not transfer your personal information overseas.

Who can see it

Only Point Capri staff who run the club and the engineer who maintains its systems. Members never see other members' information. Access by support staff is logged.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for seven years as required for business and tax records. If your membership ends you may ask us to remove your profile and preferences; order records are retained for the required period.

Your choices

You can update your details and preferences at any time from your member account, and you can ask us to correct or delete information by email. [Placeholder: contact address.] You may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
